When was the last time you were genuinely grateful? Expressing gratitude creates a positive vibrational shift. You move into alignment with abundance and love, and leave behind the energy signatures of fear and scarcity.
A popular practice to express gratitude is to write three things you are grateful for. For example, “I’m grateful for my health and vitality. I’m grateful for my loving wife. I’m grateful for my parents and their encouragement and support.”
Is this practice enough to make that vibrational shift into the energy signature of abundance? Sometimes yes. Most times not - at least in my experience. The words written on paper need more gusto. Below are three ways to activate the energy of gratitude.

Ask Life or the Universe to fill you with gratitude. Imagine you have a full cup of gratitude and see yourself drinking that cup. Allow gratitude to fill you. Now express what you are grateful for.

Imagine the face of a loved one. Get a detailed picture of their face in your mind’s eye. Make it real and animated. Hold that picture. Now express what you are grateful for.

Immerse yourself in beauty. Go in nature. Visit the ocean, woods, mountains, grassy plains, or your backyard, if that works. Anywhere that you find beautiful. Walk or sit with nature for several minutes. Now express gratitude.
